Founded in 1950 and led by a 13-member board of directors, the Illinois Health Care Association is a non-profit organization comprised of more than 500 licensed and certified long term care facilities and homes/programs for the developmentally disabled throughout the state. Resources for Success is an annual two-day event presented by IHCA and the Long Term Care Nurses Association (LTCNA) geared specifically towards long term care nurses. Each day includes a variety of sessions on key topics for nurses in the long term care profession. Illinois nursing home administrators, social workers and licensed nurses will receive continuing education hours for attending this conference. Long term care nurses and other professionals can see some of the latest products and technologies available in long term care and the event also provides excellent networking opportunities.
