Your Bluebird Service & COVID-19

At Bluebird Network, the health and safety of our employees and customers is our top concern.  As we closely track the impact that the coronavirus (COVID-19) has on our businesses and communities, we understand how critical our services are to our customers.  We want to assure you that both Bluebird Network and the Bluebird Underground Data Center are maintaining our high standards of broadband infrastructure and data center facilities and foresee no service interruptions due to COVID-19.

At Bluebird Network, the majority of work required to maintain your existing service or install your new service may be completed remotely.  Our fiber is safely buried below ground, and keeps your company connected to the internet and keeping you informed of the latest COVID-19 news.  In an effort to support ongoing telecommuting efforts for your business, Bluebird Network will perform expedited temporary bandwidth upgrades (additional bandwidth pricing does apply).  Contact your Bluebird representatives for information on how your business may upgrade its required bandwidth to support its bandwidth needs, or visit the Bluebird Network website.

The Bluebird Underground Data Center is housed 85’ below the Earth’s surface, ensuring your data remains safe encased in a limestone mine.  Our data center is already built out to accommodate your data center requirements, and includes transport and internet in/out of the data center to ensure your data remains accessible in this time of need.  Our Remote Hands Service allows your employees the ability to stay safe while Bluebird completes routine work on your behalf.  Contact your Bluebird representative for more information on the Remote Hands Service product or for space at the Bluebird Underground Data Center, or visit the Bluebird Underground page on our website.
