Bluebird Data Center Portal FAQ

What is the Bluebird Data Center portal?

It’s a new and improved way for customers to create support tickets and initiate Smart Hands requests.

How can I access the portal?

In your web browser, navigate to: https://portal.bbdcs.com/

Do I need an account?

Customers submitting a Smart Hands request will need an account to utilize the web portal. Customers may also initiate requests via the dedicated support email [email protected].

How do I create my portal account?

Bluebird staff will create your user account. Customers will receive an e-mail with detailed instructions on how to use the portal.

How do I reset my password?
  • On the portal login screen, click on “Reset Password”. Next, enter the e-mail address associated with your account to receive an e-mail with a reset code.
  • For troubleshooting, e-mail [email protected] and our staff can assist you.
How do I add additional users to my company’s account?

Please open a ticket via the portal to request additional users and provide the following details:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Title
  • E-mail address
How do I submit a new request?

There are two methods to open a ticket through the customer portal:

  1. Browse to https://portal.bbdcs.com and log in. In the menu, click on “Support” to expand the menu, then click on “Submit New Ticket” and proceed with ticket creation.
  2. Send an e-mail:

Note: Directly emailing Bluebird representatives may result in slower ticket creation and response times. Usage of the Data Center Portal is highly encouraged.

How do I get support for after-hours requests?

Submit a ticket via the portal making sure to select the “Emergency” option – this will begin our dispatch process.

What are the after-hours times?
  • Weekdays before 8:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m.
  • Weekends
  • Nationally recognized holidays
How many hours of onsite support will I need for my Smart Hands request?

Each situation is unique, and it depends on what onsite support you require and many factors such as RU size, if fiber trimming is needed, initial connection walk through, and more. Feel free to reach out to support at [email protected] for more details.
