Bluebird Network Recognized as One of Missouri’s Fastest Growing Companies

(COLUMBIA, Mo.) Nov.10, 2015 – Bluebird Network, a leading Midwest telecommunications company, was selected as one of the fastest growing companies in Missouri for 2015. The company is being presented with the “Fast Track” award which is given to Missouri companies achieving significant revenue growth, and will be presented by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce & Industry on November 19th.

Bluebird Network successfully leveraged a Broadband Technology Opportunities Program grant it received in 2009 to rapidly expand its network and services. In addition, Bluebird Network acquired an underground data center in 2014, to complement its broadband network. This award comes shortly after Bluebird Network broke ground on its underground data center expansion. Bluebird Underground, Bluebird Network’s data center, is expected to increase its data center space by over 16,000 sq. ft.

Bluebird Network is one of only eight companies in the state being recognized this year.
