Bluebird Network is a collection of Missouri and Illinois telephone companies which connect to each other and to the internet, as well as other carriers beyond their service areas. Bluebird Network offers Fiber-Optic, Ethernet, Wavelength, SONET, and Mobile Backhaul services throughout our territory. Our customers include some of the largest telecommunication service providers. By leveraging our network, resources, and innovative employees, we develop solutions that deliver broadband opportunities across the Midwest. We have over 135 Points of Presence (POP) including the major cities of Lee’s Summit, St. Joseph, Omaha, Kansas City and Joplin. Through our strategic partner, INDATEL, we realize national reach by connecting with the fiber optic networks of independent phone companies to utilize 100,000 fiber route miles and over 1,100 POP’s nationally; giving us the ability to connect communities all across the country with a fast, reliable, broadband infrastructure.
Our suite of services includes the Bluebird Underground Data Center, located 85 feet underground in Springfield, Missouri. Bluebird Underground is a SOC 2 Type 2 compliant data center, that offers data center, colocation, gigabit transport and gigabit Internet services. Our facility is carved out of solid limestone and provides protection from most natural and man-made disasters.
