Deep in Randolph County “where Illinois began”, Baldwin, Illinois is a town with a friendly community and deep historical roots. Located less than 50 miles outside of St. Louis, Missouri, Baldwin has all the benefits of small town living with the added convenience of being near a metropolitan area. Bluebird Network also provides Baldwin with the modern convenience of a high-speed network and data center co-location services.
Bluebird Network has the capability to offer its superior and reliable solutions to our Enterprise and Carrier customers. All Ethernet services are MEF compliant, matching the highest standards set by industry experts. We are committed to delivering outstanding value with predictable costs and are confident that our strong customer service focus, and dedication to our network and services position us as a strategic partner for any business, regardless of industry. Our focus verticals include healthcare, finance, government and public safety services and educational institutions.
Throughout the Midwest, Bluebird Network has built over 135 POPs in major cities such as St. Louis, Springfield, Quincy and Champaign connecting to over 6,500 fiber route miles. While Bluebird Network’s core reach is in Missouri, Illinois and the surrounding states through our member companies, such as Egyptian Telephone Cooperative Association, we are able to achieve a national reach through our partnership with INDATEL, connecting us with over 700 Rural Local Exchange Carriers throughout the country.
Bluebird Network facilitates the Bluebird Underground Data Center, a SOC 2 Type 2 certified co-location center located in Springfield, Missouri. The data center is buried 85 feet underground and encased in a solid limestone mine. We take full advantage of our underground location through our unique design which places all critical infrastructure required to run the data center underground, akin to the placement of lungs under a protective ribcage. Bluebird Network’s fiber optic infrastructure runs throughout the facility, giving our customer multiple network paths in and out of the data center.
