Bluebird Underground Data Center Awarded Most Unique Office in Springfield
The Bluebird Underground Data Center has dubbed the most unique office in Springfield by the Springfield Business Journal. The following article was originally published in the Springfield Business Journal:
“Rows and rows of server racks. Double-door secured entry. Limestone walls wrapped around 80,000 square feet. Motion-sensor lighted hallways. Two 15-foot generators. One-way in; one-way out. And an authentic fossil in the ceiling outside the conference room.
“How many offices have a fossil?” ask Todd Murren, general manager for Bluebird Network at Springfield Underground.
It’s called Bluebird Underground, and this office takes the award for the most unique in Springfield.
Yes, it’s on two levels. All underground.”
